Jobs Fair

Event Time: 9.30am - 3.00pm
Event Venue: Geoffrey Manton Building, Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester M15 6EB

If you are looking for a job in social work within Greater Manchester, then this is the event for you. You will have the chance to talk to the teams behind local authorities across the region as well as several voluntary services.

It is not just a chance to network though – there will also be a range of training sessions happening through the day to help develop your employability skills. We want to ensure you are prepared with all the tools you need to succeed in applications and interviews so that you can form an active part in shaping social work across the region. These workshops can help build your confidence when applying for jobs, which always comes through in your application and allows you to showcase your skills more effectively. You can attend the event at any point during the day but sessions will be held at specific times during the day. The programme for the day is currently being development and information for this will be available soon. You will need to register your interest through Eventbrite and then ensure you sign in on arrival.

As a teaching partnership, GMSWA works collaboratively to support social work across Greater Manchester. We want to ensure we’re providing positive opportunities for practitioners, students and NQSWs across the region in order to develop good practice. Recognising that this is only possible through collaboration; bringing together different services and authorities who are passionate about supporting social work in Greater Manchester.

We look forward to seeing you.
