Personal Development Programme for children affected by domestic abuse
Posted: 10 September 2018
Children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse will often have low self-esteem and lack confidence. In order to support the work around managing feelings appropriately it is important to develop the child or young person’s ability to use their new strategies.
Personal development work can be used at varying times throughout the work when as a professional you feel it is appropriate, or where there is an activity that you feel is particularly relevant for the individual you are working with.
