Your new company
Due to a new partnership between Birmingham City Council and Hays, we are recruiting on behalf of a globally and nationally recognised organisation. You will be based in either of the Birmingham City Hospitals (QE, Heartlands, Moseley& West Heath) in a fast past team, completing between 5 and 25 cases.
Your new role
In this position you will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment and have recently worked as a qualified Adults Social Worker with experience in keeping and maintaining accurate records, making sure any assessment statuses, admissions and discharges are captured correctly and initial assessments. You will have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable to pick up new and existing cases. It is imperative that you have an in depth understanding and be able to manage any challenges with appropriate methods which will vary from case to case.
What youll need to succeed
Previous direct experience of delivering social work to Adult Service users is essential. You must also have knowledge of key legislation, able to produce reports and maintain records. To be successful you will require a Social Work qualification (BA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). It is also essential that you have a current professional registration with the HCPC and have a minimum of 6 months experience working with adults in a Social Work position within the last 2 years.
