My client in East London is looking for a Practice Development manager(Qualified Social Worker) to join the Children and families Service.
You must be HCPC registered social worker to apply for this role.
Purpose of the job:
This post is key to developing the boroughs model of social work intervention.
Its creation responds to the changing needs of the service, providing a defined progression for Social Workers.
The Key Accountability`s:
1. Assessment - To provide a clear and accurate assessment of a child and the child`s family`s needs in line with statutory guidance.
2.Planning and service delivery - To provide focused and purposeful social work interventions with explicit aims and objectives about desired outcomes within the context of managing risk to children.
3.Direct work with children and their families - To build a professional relationship with children and their families and to use that relationship to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
4.Accountability and performance management - To be fully accountable for all work undertaken for children allocated to the social work unit.
6.Partnership with other agencies - To ensure that staff within the social work unit work purposefully with other agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and their families
