An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Social Worker based in Southport for Sefton MBC to work within their Community Assessment Team.

They are looking for an experienced practitioner with considerable experience in the field expected to undertake complex cases including assessment and management of risks. Recognised by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and expertise demonstrating critical knowledge of the range of theories and models for social work intervention.

You will also be expected to oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students carrying out practice learning placements as required. Required to give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings.

This service really values its staff and you as a Social Worker. As well as having a very supported management team that like to offer their guidance and support.

To apply for this role you must hold a degree, post graduate or Professional Qualification in Social Work Hold full HCPC registration. Ideally have 3 years post graduate experience in the relevant team desirable Have Clear and valid DBS disclosure Have access to their own car.
