We have an exciting opportunity within the Sunderland area to work within a thriving and friendly Looked after Children Team.
You will be managing your own caseload with varying levels of complexity ensuring that children placed in the care of the council have all their emotional, educational and social needs met. You will do this by implementing and reviewing pathway plans, independently writing the matching report, planning the introductions, supporting adopters, writing the annex a report for court and liaising with foster parents and home managers in ensuring placements are secure.
You should hold relevant qualifications and a minimum of 2 years qualified experience along with at least 3 years referencing and current HCPC registration. We will complete enhanced DBS check.
The pay rate for this role is negotiable dependant upon experience. There is also an option for flexible working to be discussed at interview.
