Support Worker - Brain Injury - Permanent - Birmingham - Driver Required
Your new company
A national provider of support to individuals with brain injury are looking to recruit a permanent support worker to work in the Birmingham area.
Your new role
As a support worker, you will be working 35 hours each in various locations across the Birmingham area. You will be working with service users who have suffered from brain injury; to work on targeted activities with each client, whether individually or in groups. You will assist the Day Co-ordinator in being responsible for the well-being of clients to assist them to lead independent lives.
What youll need to succeed
You will need to be flexible during the week as well as available to work each weekend. You will also be required to own a full driving license and have access to a vehicle. Along with this you will need to have previous experience, working or supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health.
What youll get in return
You will get up to 35 hours to work each week on a competitive salary, working in various locations across Birmingham. You will also receive 40p per mile driven to aid in transport costs. You will be a key worker and will be able to build a quality rapport with service users and other colleagues.
