Brief summary:

AHMPs’ decision making and assessment outcomes vary. AMHPs evaluate complex and unique situations and make independent decisions. What can we learn from observing MHA assessments, and the dynamics between the assessor and the person being assessed? What happens, at the point of assessment, between AMHP and service user? This session aims to explore more of the many variables that influence AMHPs’ practice and decision making.

Learning outcomes:

To sharpen the focus on the decision making process; to critically reflect on AMHP practice.

Who should attend?
